Comments from Keisuke Goda

In medicine, food, energy, and the environment, cells are intimately connected to society and have the potential to improve our lives. To realize this, the power of science is crucial. The research I have conducted at the University of Tokyo has received a great response and expectations for its practical application. By assuming the position of the Chief Scientific Officer at CYBO, which I have been involved in since its launch, I hope to promote efforts to bridge the gap between science and business. I also hope to contribute to CYBO's growth and society by further strengthening CYBO's R&D and providing new value to cells through innovative technology.

Profile

As a professor at the University of Tokyo, University of California, Los Angeles, and Wuhan University, he has pioneered high-speed optical imaging combined with microfluidics and AI for diverse biomedical applications. As a program manager for an R&D program of the Cabinet Office of Japan, he led a team to develop the intelligent image-activated cell sorting technology.
